The building of the Galician Sejm was constructed in 1877-1881 by architect Juliusz Hochberger. It is now the main building of the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv. More information on Lviv Interactive.
It was built on the site of the old "English Hotel" designed by Julian Zachariewicz in 1889-1891. Today it is the Lviv Museum of Ethnography and Arts and Crafts and the Institute of Ethnology. More information on Lviv Interactive.
The consulate operated in 1905 at 19 Mochnackiego Street (now Drahomanova Street), and on the eve of the First World War at 9 Chmielowskiego Street (now Hlibova Street).
